What is the Katalon Certification Program?

Katalon Certifications recognize users who complete a defined set of practical activities using Katalon solutions. Coursework isn’t required, but it’s recommended for new users who want guided learning.

There are three certifications: Practitioner, AI-Skilled Practitioner, and Professional. Each has its own set of criteria, and every certificate is valid for 2 years.

Who can qualify for a Katalon Certification?

Anyone can. Registration is simple. Just choose the certification you want to pursue and enroll.

How can I download and use Katalon Studio?

You can download Katalon Studio here. New users automatically receive a 30-day free trial of Katalon Studio Enterprise, starting from the day their account is created, to explore the platform’s full capabilities.

How will I receive my Katalon Certificates?

Once you complete all certification requirements, you’ll receive an email confirming your achievement. You can then view, download, and share your certifications directly from your Katalon Academy profile.

Can I earn more than one certification within 12 months?

Yes. You’ll receive a new certificate each time you complete another certification.

Do I need to purchase a license to get certified?

No purchase is required to earn a Katalon certification. However, some certifications, such as Professional, require access to Katalon Studio Enterprise, which does require a license.

You can utilize the 30-day trial period to use the advanced features. You can also earn free licenses by collecting Kudo points in the Katalon Community and exchanging them for licenses. Learn more here.

Can I share my certificate on LinkedIn?

Yes. You can add your certification to your LinkedIn profile, or download the PDF version to share anywhere.
